Al-Ghouj Inspects Workflow and Medical Services at Zwara Maritime Hospital

Zwara - July 3, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Health in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Ghouj, conducted a nighttime inspection of Zwara Maritime General Hospital to closely examine the level of medical services and healthcare provided to citizens during evening hours. This visit is part of his ongoing field monitoring of operations at medical facilities across various municipalities.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity, Al-Ghouj inspected the emergency, intensive care, and outpatient departments of the hospital. He reviewed the staffing arrangements for on-call medical and paramedical personnel and listened to several patients and visitors to assess their satisfaction with the treatment and medical services provided.

The visit also included identifying urgent operational needs and deficiencies, and exploring ways to overcome any obstacles that might hinder the smooth delivery of services. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of strict adherence to the shift schedule and providing the highest level of patient care.

The Ministry stated that this nighttime visit underscores the Ministry of Health's commitment to developing the hospital and enhancing its equipment capacity to ensure that specialized services are more accessible to residents of the area and to alleviate pressure on hospitals in neighboring cities.
