Douma Discusses Challenges Facing the National Migration Observatory

Tripoli, July 2, 2026 (LANA) – The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Misbah Douma, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Migration Observatory, Walid Abdel Rabbo Hussein, to discuss the Observatory's operations, the main obstacles and challenges it faces, and ways to address them to enhance its performance and enable it to fulfill its duties and achieve its objectives.

This meeting took place on Wednesday at the House of Representatives headquarters in Benghazi.

The meeting addressed the current state of the National Migration Observatory's work and reviewed the most significant challenges hindering its performance.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for addressing these challenges to enhance the Observatory's performance and enable it to carry out its tasks and achieve its goals.
