Tripoli, June 30, 2026 (LANA) – A meeting between the Government of National Unity and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) focused on developing the health sector, particularly in the areas of digital transformation and governance.
This came during a meeting held by the Minister of State for Prime Ministerial and Cabinet Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ghalbon, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, with a UNDP delegation that included the Resident Representative in Libya, Sophie Kimkhadze, and the Deputy Resident Representative, Mohamed Saleh.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for supporting the Ministry in its digital transformation and strengthening institutional governance, which will contribute to improving performance efficiency and raising the level of health services provided.
Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing a joint working mechanism to organize cooperation and coordinate efforts between the two parties, ensuring the sustainable achievement of reform and modernization goals within the health sector.
