Civil Service and Women's Affairs sign a memorandum of cooperation to train female public sector employees

Tripoli, June 29, 2026 (LANA) – The Ministry of Civil Service and the Ministry of State for Women's Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to launch training and development programs targeting female public sector employees. The aim is to enhance their professional and administrative skills and strengthen their leadership capabilities, in line with the government's focus on investing in human resource development and women's empowerment.

The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Civil Service, Abdul-Moneim Ibrahim Saleh, and the Minister of State for Women's Affairs, Randa Gharib, as part of strengthening cooperation between the two ministries to implement training programs that contribute to improving the job performance of female staff in state institutions.

According to the official page of the Ministry of Civil Service, this agreement comes within the framework of the two parties' efforts to support the "She is a Leader" project, implemented under the "Tamkeen" initiative for training and career development. This initiative focuses on capacity building, developing leadership and administrative skills, and enhancing women's participation in decision-making positions within state institutions.

During the signing ceremony, the two ministers affirmed that the memorandum reflects the government's commitment to expanding training and development opportunities to meet the demands of public administration development and enhance institutional efficiency and excellence through effective partnerships among government entities to achieve administrative development goals and empower women.
