Tripoli, June 22, 2026 (LANA) – The city of Tripoli is preparing to host the 5th Arab Conference on Savings and Financial Literacy 2026, from September 7 to 9, 2026, with broad participation from Arab central bank governors, finance ministers, and representatives of regional and international financial institutions.
The conference is being organized under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, within the framework of promoting financial awareness, consolidating the concepts of saving and financial inclusion, and supporting economic stability in the Arab region.
The conference is scheduled to address a number of topics related to financial literacy, innovation in banking services, and the role of financial awareness in supporting national economies. It will also launch scientific and community initiatives and competitions targeting researchers, content creators, and institutions.
The conference serves as a regional platform for exchanging expertise among central banks and financial institutions, contributing to the development of financial policies and the promotion of sustainable economic development in Arab countries.
