Tripoli, 15 June 2026 (Lana) Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed Ben Ghalbon, met yesterday with the EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, to discuss a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting addressed procedures taken by the Government of National Unity to address the file of irregular migration, in addition to ways to support the military institution in order to enhance security and stability and support development efforts.

They also discussed prospects for developing cooperation between Libya and the EU and strengthening existing partnerships in various areas to serve the common interests of the two parties.
