Togolese Foreign Minister arrives in Tripoli.

Tripoli, 14 June 2026 (Lana)—Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Togo, Robert Dasse, arrived in Tripoli yesterday for an official visit to Libya, leading a high-level delegation.

The minister was received at Mitiga International Airport by Taher Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nasser Bouzid, Director of the African Affairs Department, and Taher Hussein, Director of the General Directorate of Protocol, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official page.

This visit comes within the framework of ongoing consultations and coordination between the two countries on issues of common interest at the regional and international levels and the exchange of views on current developments to contribute to supporting security, stability, and development on the African continent.

The visit also reflects the commitment of both sides to strengthening and developing bilateral relations and enhancing the level of joint cooperation in various areas, in a way that serves mutual interests and reinforces the bonds of friendship and partnership between the two countries.
