Chief of the General Staff stresses safeguarding the rights of the Libyan Army institution and its Personnel.

Tripoli, 8 June 2026 (Lana) The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, stressed the necessity of ensuring and safeguarding the rights of the Libyan Army and its personnel.

This came during a meeting held by al-Namroush with the chiefs of staff of the various branches of the armed forces to discuss several issues related to the functioning of the military institution.

During the meeting, he also emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to improve the performance of the military institution and bring it to the desired level, as well as addressing the difficulties and challenges facing its operations to enhance efficiency and readiness and achieve the set objectives.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics related to organizing administrative work, in addition to providing the Chief of the General Staff with a comprehensive briefing on the latest developments in the military situation across the country.
