Al-Ghouj Inaugurates Sayyad Rural Hospital

Sayyad, June 7, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Health in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, inaugurated the Sayyad Rural Hospital west of Tripoli on Sunday, in the presence of the Director General of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, Tariq Al-Hamshari. This followed the completion of renovation and development work carried out by the center as part of its plan to support health facilities and improve their operational efficiency.

The work included officially designating the hospital as a rural hospital, reorganizing its administrative and medical departments and units, and activating several specialized departments and clinics. This aims to improve the level of healthcare services provided to citizens in the area.

A comprehensive neonatal unit was also established, including fully equipped incubators and a pediatric ward. This step aims to enhance maternal and child health services and provide necessary medical care for newborns within the hospital.
