UN Mission Hosts Mini-Meeting on Roadmap in Tunisia

Tunis, June 5, 2026 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced that it hosted the third round of “mini-meeting” consultations in Tunisia, aimed at reaching an agreement on the first two phases of the UN-facilitated roadmap.

The mission stated that the session, facilitated by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hanna Tetteh, was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere.

According to the mission, participants continued their discussions on the electoral framework, building on the understandings reached during previous rounds.

The participants agreed, according to the UN mission, to resume their consultations later this month to continue the discussions.
