Al-Lafi: Building a Unified Military Institution

Tripoli, June 4, 2026 (LANA) – Presidential Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi affirmed that building a unified and professional military institution, based on the values ​​of military discipline, professionalism, and loyalty to God and then to the nation, represents the fundamental pillar for establishing security, protecting national sovereignty, and preserving the unity of the country and the resources of the Libyan people.

This came during his accompaniment yesterday, Wednesday, of the morning assembly of members of the 444th Combat Brigade, where he praised the high level of discipline, readiness, and advanced training and qualification he witnessed among the brigade's personnel.

Al-Lafi explained, in a tweet he posted on his account on the "X" platform, that these levels enhance confidence in the capabilities of the armed forces and confirm their readiness to carry out their national duties as required.

He reiterated the importance of continuing efforts to develop military units and improve their performance, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the military institution.

Al-Lafi also commended the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Libyan army, praising their dedicated and sincere efforts in fulfilling their national duty.
