Minister of Justice Meets with Head of Judicial Expertise Center and Director of Forensic Medicine Institute

Tripoli, June 4, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Justice Halima Ibrahim of the Government of National Unity met yesterday, Wednesday, with the Head of the Judicial Expertise and Research Center and the Director of the Forensic Medicine Institute.

The meeting addressed the progress of work at the Center and the newly established Forensic Medicine Institute, which was created at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice to contribute to the training of personnel in the field of forensic medicine.

The meeting also included a presentation on the preparatory arrangements for the first Forensic Medicine Conference, which the Center and the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Institute intend to hold soon. The conference aims to highlight the latest scientific developments in forensic medicine and toxicology, and the training opportunities it offers to doctors and professionals working in this field.
