Washington, May 30, 2026 (LANA) – Senior US Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, met with the Director of the North Africa and Middle East Department at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Romaric Rouignan, to discuss the latest developments in Libya and ways to support international efforts aimed at strengthening stability and advancing the political process.

Boulos stated in a post on his X platform: “Regarding Libya, we discussed a comprehensive, Libyan-led process to unify the country’s institutions, in line with the UN-sponsored political roadmap.”
