Tripoli, May 25, 2026 (LANA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his confidence that the third Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled to be held in Moscow next October, will constitute an important platform for opening new horizons for developing mutually beneficial partnership and cooperation between Russia and African countries. This came in a congratulatory telegram to the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, on the occasion of Africa Day, which embodies a pivotal historical milestone in the journey of the continent's peoples towards liberation and emancipation from colonialism, and the consolidation of the values ​​of freedom, peace, development, and prosperity, according to the Presidential Council's media office.

In his telegram, Putin indicated that this summit will serve common interests and enhance opportunities for development and stability in various fields.
