Coordination Meeting Held in Ghat Municipality Regarding Public Services

Sabha, May 21, 2026 (LANA) – A coordination meeting was held by the Ghat Municipal Council, with the participation of the Ghat Cleaning Services Company, the Ghat Municipal Guard, the Director of Projects at Ghat Municipality, and the Director of Ghat Local Radio. The meeting discussed mechanisms to enhance field efforts to maintain public cleanliness and environmental health within the municipality and developed a field action plan for cleaning operations during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The attendees concluded by adopting a comprehensive emergency plan, tasking the cleaning services company with intensifying garbage and sacrificial animal waste collection on a regular basis. The plan also includes operating work teams and equipment on a shift system to ensure uninterrupted service. Additionally, a plan was developed to implement precautionary environmental measures, including providing the necessary fuel for operating the equipment and spraying the main landfills to reduce odors and insects. Separate containers were also allocated for collecting hides and livestock waste.
