Al-Zaidani discusses with Ulrika Richardson cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and international agencies in Libya

Tripoli, May 20, 2026 (LANA) – Minister of Planning in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Zaidani, met today, Wednesday, at the Ministry headquarters in Tripoli, with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and UN Resident Coordinator in Libya, Ulrika Richardson, to discuss strengthening partnership and cooperation between the Ministry and international agencies operating in the country.

The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, along with a number of officials from the Ministry of Planning.

The meeting addressed ways to develop mechanisms for joint coordination, support development efforts, and unify visions regarding the implementation of priority programs and projects, thereby enhancing stability and sustainable development in Libya.
