UNSMIL: The Economic Track of the Structured Dialogue resumed its meetings.

Tripoli 19 May 2026 (Lana) The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced that the Economic Track of the Structured Dialogue resumed its meetings yesterday in Tripoli to continue refining recommendations aimed at addressing Libya’s key economic challenges and advancing the economic stability and reforms necessary to create a conducive environment for credible elections and long-term stability.
The mission said on its official page that over the next four days, participants will finalize recommendations concerning financial governance and public financial management; the management of oil revenues and sovereign resources; economic restructuring and diversification; balanced development and economic justice across Libya; macroeconomic stability and economic policy; and economic transparency and accountability.
“Discussions will also focus on practical mechanisms to facilitate the implementation of the track’s recommendations,” UNSMIL added.
