International Exhibition Documenting Libyan Heritage Paris

Paris – Tripoli, May 15, 2026 (LANA) – An exhibition entitled “Libya, Unveiling Heritage” opened at the Arab World Institute in Paris. The exhibition highlights fifty years of Libyan-French cooperation in the fields of archaeology and heritage, with the participation of the French Archaeological Mission in Libya and in collaboration with several cultural and scientific institutions concerned with Libyan heritage.
The exhibition runs from May 13 to October 20, 2026, and presents a documentary and archaeological display reflecting some of the results of joint Libyan-French cooperation in archaeological research and the preservation of cultural heritage.
This exhibition is organized by the French Archaeological Mission in Libya, under the direction of Vincent Michel, in cooperation with the French Embassy in Libya, the French Institute in Libya, and the Libyan Department of Antiquities, as part of efforts to highlight joint initiatives in protecting and documenting Libyan heritage.
The French Embassy in Libya also confirmed via its official page that entry to the exhibition is free for people under the age of 26.
