NOC and British Council Sign MoU

Tripoli, May 15, 2026 (LANA) – The British Embassy in Libya announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the British Council Libya, aimed at expanding English language training programs and enhancing skills development within the Libyan oil sector.

The embassy explained on its official page that the MoU includes the implementation of specialized training programs, along with a "Train the Trainers" initiative, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of the workforce and developing their linguistic and professional capabilities within the sector.

This step comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, development, and capacity building, which supports growth opportunities in the oil sector and enhances international partnerships in this field.
