Abu Salim Municipal Council Discusses Improving Services

Tripoli, May 15, 2026 (LANA) – The Abu Salim Municipal Council held its fifth regular meeting on Thursday evening, chaired by Mayor Mahmoud Attia Al-Rais, and attended by council members. The meeting addressed several service and organizational matters, reviewed current and future projects within the municipality, and discussed citizens' needs and ways to improve the level of public services.

The meeting also addressed preparations for Eid al-Adha, discussing mechanisms for organizing the livestock market and its designated location to ensure smooth operations and the provision of services in accordance with established regulations.

The council also discussed several vital issues related to the health, education, utilities, and public services sectors. In addition, it reviewed key issues of concern to citizens within the municipality, emphasizing the need to strengthen coordination among relevant authorities and monitor the progress of various projects.

At the conclusion of its meeting, the municipal council affirmed its commitment to continuing efforts aimed at improving the level of services and overcoming difficulties in order to support service and organizational stability within the Abu Salim municipality.
