Dbeibah meets with the French Ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, 11 May 2026 (Lana)—Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah of the Government of National Unity discussed yesterday with the French Ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallat, files related to joint cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to enhance partnership and investment opportunities to support development and stability efforts in Libya.
The meeting discussed commercial and economic developments and ways to expand the French companies in the Libyan market in light of the country's current economic momentum and rapid development projects, according to the official page of the PM’s communication office.
The Ambassador emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with Libya, noting the increased French activity through the broad participation of French companies and entities in recent economic events and their openness to job and investment opportunities within the Libyan market.
