Al-Abed discusses cooperation in the fields of work, training and rehabilitation with the British ambassador

Tripoli, May 10, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, met today, Sunday, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of labor, training, and rehabilitation, and prospects for partnership between the two countries in human resource development.
The meeting addressed support for vocational training and rehabilitation programs, developing labor market mechanisms, and exchanging expertise in employment and capacity building, with the aim of raising the efficiency of national personnel and enhancing job opportunities for young people.
During the meeting, the British Ambassador affirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to supporting the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation's efforts in implementing its development programs and strengthening bilateral cooperation to serve the common interests of both countries.
