Tripoli, May 7, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today, Thursday, with the Advisory Committee of the Supreme Council of Amazigh of Libya, in the presence of Mr. Noah Al-Malti, a member of the High Council of State, to discuss ways to strengthen national consensus and protect cultural diversity.

The Presidential Council's media office stated on its official page that the meeting addressed ways to enhance national consensus, supporting efforts to consolidate stability and create a suitable environment for holding elections based on constitutional and legal foundations that guarantee transparency, integrity, and equal opportunities for all Libyans.

The meeting also discussed the rights of cultural and social groups in Libya, emphasizing the importance of preserving national diversity as a pillar of national unity and ensuring the participation of all Libyan groups in shaping the country's future without marginalization or exclusion.
