The Minister of Justice meets with the Undersecretaries

Tripoli, May 7, 2026 (LANA) – During a meeting yesterday with the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Ali Ishtiwi, and the Undersecretary for Courts and Public Prosecutions, Naziha Bin Hamed, the Minister of Justice in the Government of National Unity, Halima Ibrahim, stressed the importance of monitoring the performance of departments, branches, and all affiliated bodies and agencies to ensure they fulfill their roles effectively and provide the best possible services to citizens.

The meeting reviewed the progress of work at the Ministry and its affiliated bodies, followed up on achievements during the first quarter of this year, and discussed several important issues related to developing institutional performance and mechanisms to support administrative and legal work within the Ministry. This aims to improve the quality of services, unify efforts, and foster teamwork to achieve the Ministry's strategic objectives.

The ministry explained via its Facebook page that the meeting aims to support plans to consolidate the principles of justice, the rule of law, and serving the public interest, and falls within the periodic meetings dedicated to following up on the implementation of the proposed plans.
