Al-Namroush inspects the Supply and Logistics Authority and emphasizes the importance of enhancing readiness and production

Tripoli, May 5, 2026 (LANA) – As part of monitoring operations and assessing the needs of the Supply and Logistics Authority, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, conducted a field visit to the Authority's headquarters on Tuesday.
He was received by the Head of the Authority, Major General Abdul Hamid Abu Darbala, along with a number of officers, and in the presence of the Director of the Advance Fund Department and the Director of the Military Works and Property Department.
During the visit, a meeting was held to discuss work progress and mechanisms for improving performance. This was followed by an inspection tour that included several departments and facilities to review maintenance work and modernization plans, all aimed at supporting operational efficiency and enhancing readiness.
During the tour, the Chief of the General Staff emphasized the importance of the Authority's role in supporting the military establishment. He stressed the need to boost production to meet needs and raise the level of readiness, while affirming the continuation of support and the intensification of efforts with a sense of responsibility.
