Dbeibah meets with dignitaries from Qumata to follow up on service conditions

Qasr al-Akhyar, May 4, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah met with dignitaries and elders from Qasr al-Akhyar and Qumata al-Arban, in the presence of government ministers, to discuss public services, enhance local stability, and assess the municipality's needs.

During the meeting, Dbeibah emphasized the deep social cohesion, noting that the various social components are an integral part of the social fabric and that this cohesion is the foundation of stability. He called for its preservation, stressing that unity is the true guarantee of a strong and stable society.

Dbeibah announced a package of service and development projects, including road maintenance, improvements to health and educational facilities, and enhancements to water and electricity networks, in addition to the establishment of sports and cultural facilities. He affirmed his commitment to directly overseeing their implementation to ensure improved service quality.

For their part, the dignitaries, elders, and municipal council expressed their support for the Government of National Unity, commending its efforts to improve services and affirming their readiness to cooperate with executive bodies in a manner that serves stability and development, according to the Prime Minister's Media Office.

The Prime Minister directed executive bodies to expedite the implementation of approved projects and urgently address service bottlenecks, while enhancing inter-sectoral coordination to ensure adherence to established timelines.
