Al-Menfi discusses with the Second Deputy Speaker of the High Council of State the latest developments in the country's political scene

Tripoli, May 4, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today, Monday, with the Second Deputy Speaker of the High Council of State, Musa Faraj, and Council members Mohammed Amzib and Kamel Al-Jatlawi to discuss the latest political developments in the country.

According to the Presidential Council's media office, the meeting addressed the current political situation in Libya, given the present challenges that necessitate unifying visions and intensifying coordination among the various national institutions.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of advancing the political process to achieve lasting stability and consolidate the foundations of the state through consensual approaches based on the national will and fulfilling the aspirations of the Libyan people.
