The Criminal Research and Training Center concludes a training course for (21) Deputy Public Prosecutors

Tripoli, May 2, 2026 (LANA) – The Criminal Research Center concluded the fifth edition of its training course for trainers, Thursday, at its headquarters. The course was organized jointly with Expertise France.

The Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the concluded training activity was designed for twenty-one Deputy Public Prosecutors, Directors of Public Order Prosecutions, and Directors of Illegal Immigration Prosecutions, working in the jurisdictions of the Courts of Appeal in: Sabha, Tobruk, Al-Bayda, Benghazi, Misrata, Al-Khoms, Gharyan, Al-Zawiya, South Tripoli, and North Tripoli.

The Center aims, through this activity, to prepare certified trainers within its framework of trainers, in order to expand capacity building to include all personnel of the criminal justice system. This will be achieved through trainers from the Public Prosecution, judicial bodies, and other justice system frameworks. In accordance with the Center's strategic plan, particularly the pillar of training localization and the focus on technical cooperation and the participation of international entities in organizing, managing, and implementing international technical support programs, projects, and activities;

The Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the concluded training activity was conducted in partnership with Expertise France, within the framework of the international technical cooperation agreement between the Center and the organization, signed on April 7, 2026. This builds upon the results of their initial cooperation agreement, signed on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, during the inauguration ceremony of the Public Prosecutor's International Book Fair.
