Libya will host the meeting of Arab scouting committees in early May.

Tripoli, April 30, 2026 (LANA) – The capital, Tripoli, will host the Arab Scout Committees meeting from May 2 to 6, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth of the Government of National Unity, with the participation of a select group of scouting leaders and experts from various Arab countries.

The meeting is expected to discuss a number of issues and topics on the agenda, aimed at supporting the scouting movement and enhancing its presence and influence in Arab societies.

The Ministry of Youth stated that Libya's hosting of this event reflects its standing and active role in the Arab scouting movement and affirms its ongoing commitment to supporting all efforts that contribute to the advancement and expansion of scouting.

The Ministry of Youth also welcomed Libya's guests participating in the event, emphasizing its commitment to providing all necessary resources to ensure the meeting's success, thus projecting a positive image of the country and strengthening Arab brotherhood.
