Tripoli, April 29, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah of the Government of National Unity met today, Wednesday, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, to discuss the latest political developments and prospects for bilateral cooperation.

The meeting addressed strengthening relations between Libya and the United Kingdom in various fields, as well as reviewing the current political situation and emphasizing the importance of coordinating international efforts to support the political process.

According to the government's platform, both sides stressed the need to consolidate stability and move towards holding national elections, which would strengthen the unity of institutions and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
