Dbaiba meets British Ambassador

Tripoli, April 29, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdelhamid Dbaiba, met today, Wednesday, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, to discuss political developments and prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The meeting addressed strengthening relations between Libya and the United Kingdom in various fields, in addition to reviewing the latest political developments and emphasizing the importance of coordinating international efforts to support the political process.
According to the government's platform, both sides stressed the need to consolidate stability and move towards holding national elections, which would strengthen the unity of institutions and respond to the aspirations of the Libyan people.
