Al-Menfi meets with the Attorney General to discuss strengthening justice and combating corruption

Tripoli, April 27, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today, Monday, at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, with Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the rule of law and consolidate the foundations of justice.

The meeting addressed ways to support and develop the criminal justice system to ensure its institutional efficiency, as well as discussing mechanisms to enhance the fight against corruption crimes by activating prosecution tools, tightening accountability procedures, and ensuring that no one escapes punishment.

This comes within the framework of consolidating the principles of integrity and transparency, protecting public funds, and strengthening confidence in the justice institutions.
