The UN mission holds the second plenary session of the structured dialogue

Tripoli, April 27, 2026 (LANA) – Members of the structured dialogue on the economy, security, governance, national reconciliation, and human rights tracks participated in the second plenary session of the dialogue, held by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Monday.

According to UNSMIL, the participants in the virtual session reviewed the progress made and discussed initial recommendations from all tracks aimed at creating the appropriate conditions for holding elections.

The mission stated that the session included discussions on shared priorities and ways to broaden support for them. It noted that the meeting provided an opportunity for direct communication with the mission's leadership, including regarding efforts to formulate a unified national vision for elections and unified institutions.
