Tripoli, April 26, 2026 (LANA) – The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, met today, Sunday, with the chiefs of staff of the various branches, the Director of the Training Department, and the commanders of the training divisions within the specialized branches to discuss the development of the training system and raising the efficiency of military personnel.
The General Staff's Media Office reported that the meeting addressed several issues related to training both domestically and abroad, methods for qualifying officers and non-commissioned officers, and the career path for officer promotions based on modern professional standards. The meeting also discussed activating the role of mobilization schools and specialized centers.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed updating training curricula for adoption by the specialized branches, which will contribute to enhancing readiness and raising the level of military performance.
