Benghazi, April 21, 2026 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, met today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Muftah Al-Qawi, to discuss supporting the independence of the judiciary and developing the justice system in a way that contributes to consolidating the rule of law and achieving justice.
The House stated on its official page that the meeting was also attended by the Minister of Justice in the Libyan government appointed by Parliament, Khaled Masoud Al-Mudir, and addressed ways to enhance cooperation between judicial and legislative institutions.
During the meeting, attendees emphasized the importance of continued joint coordination to confront challenges and strengthen the stability of state institutions.
