Pulbished on:

Tripoli, April 21, 2026 (LANA) – Members of the National Reconciliation and Human Rights track, within the framework of the structured dialogue, resumed their third round of direct discussions yesterday, Monday, in Tripoli, to address issues of transitional justice and strengthen the reconciliation process in Libya.

The UN mission stated on its official page today that participants are discussing the current state of transitional justice and its relationship to national reconciliation, in addition to reviewing existing initiatives and efforts, and ways to develop them to ensure a rights-based democratic transition for all Libyans.

The mission team presented the results of the “Give Your Opinion” survey, in which approximately 6,000 people participated, highlighting the most prominent issues related to human rights and national reconciliation, with the aim of including them in the discussion topics, according to the same source.

The participants are expected to finalize a set of practical and implementable recommendations by the end of the week, in preparation for presenting them at their final in-person meeting, scheduled for next month.
