The Ministry of Civil Service approves the job structure for the Ministry of Health.

Tripoli, April 20, 2026 (LANA) – The Minister of Civil Service in the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Munim Saleh, approved the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health, pursuant to Resolution No. (143) of 2026, in a move aimed at organizing and modernizing the organizational structure of the health sector.

The resolution includes the Ministry of Health headquarters and regional health service departments, totaling (190,150) positions, as part of a plan to reorganize the sector and raise its efficiency to meet current needs.

The organizational structure was approved during an official meeting held today, Monday, at the Ministry of Civil Service headquarters, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghouj, a number of undersecretaries of the Ministry of Civil Service, directors of relevant departments, and the joint technical team from both ministries.

This approval is the first of its kind since 2007, after years of stagnation, and was completed according to a modern vision aimed at improving performance and enhancing the quality of health services provided to citizens.

The Ministry of Civil Service affirmed its continued commitment to approving staffing structures for various ministries and agencies, noting its readiness to provide the necessary technical support and consultations to contribute to developing and enhancing the efficiency of the state's administrative apparatus.
