Tripoli 19 April 2026 (Lana) The US Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, expressed his country's pride in joining nine other countries he described as "partners" in welcoming Libya's signing of the unified national budget on April 11.
Boulos stated in a tweet that the partner countries (Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom) will continue to support efforts to build Libya’s unity and stability.
He said that this step came in coordination with the UN Special Representative of the Secretary General, Hanna Tetteh, within the framework of supporting the political and institutional process in the country.
He affirmed that the international community will continue to support Libya in its efforts to build unified institutions and consolidate stability.
