Cairo, April 16, 2026 (LANA) – The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, met with his counterpart, the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Amr Adel, at the Authority's headquarters in Cairo, within the framework of strengthening joint Arab cooperation in the fields of oversight and combating corruption.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise between the two authorities, particularly in the areas of oversight and developing institutional performance, which contributes to supporting anti-corruption efforts.
Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Authority and his accompanying delegation participated in the graduation ceremony for Arab trainees in the advanced training course for anti-corruption bodies, which was held in Cairo at the invitation of the Egyptian Administrative Control Authority.
The course saw the participation of trainees from Libya, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and Algeria, as part of strategic training programs aimed at raising the efficiency of personnel working in Arab oversight bodies and enhancing their professional capabilities in the areas of integrity, transparency, and combating corruption.
The Libyan delegation emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and coordination among Arab oversight bodies, which supports the development of institutional performance, the exchange of technical expertise, and contributes to consolidating the principles of good governance and enhancing transparency, in accordance with the latest internationally recognized standards.
This participation comes within the framework of implementing the Administrative Control Authority's strategic plan, which aims to develop capabilities, refine expertise, and raise the efficiency of institutional performance, as it is one of the fundamental pillars of the anti-corruption system, in addition to strengthening cooperation with counterpart bodies regionally and internationally.
