Al-Baour discusses with the Nigerien Foreign Minister the development of joint cooperation in various fields

Tripoli, April 12, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met today, Sunday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Niger, Bakary Yao Sangare, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting addressed prospects for developing joint cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
The two sides also discussed priority issues, most notably enhancing border security and joint coordination to combat illegal immigration, in order to contribute to supporting regional stability and achieving the common interests of the two friendly countries.
