140 Migrants and Imported Liquor Seized in Qatroon

Qatroon, April 9, 2026 (LANA) – The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency conducted a successful security operation in the city of Qatroon, resulting in the arrest of 140 illegal migrants of various African nationalities and the seizure of 52 cases of imported liquor.

The agency explained that the operation followed surveillance of a location used for smuggling and illegal immigration. The site was raided at 4:00 AM in coordination with the agency's branches in the south. All those arrested and the seized items were transferred to the Qatrun branch to complete the legal procedures.

The agency stated that the operation represents a significant blow to smugglers and organized crime networks, and is part of its ongoing efforts to protect the nation and maintain public security.
