Al-Baour arrives in N'Djamena on an official visit to strengthen Libyan-Chadian cooperation

N'Djamena, April 7, 2026 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, arrived in the Chadian capital, N'Djamena, on Tuesday for an official visit to the Republic of Chad.
The Ministry stated on its official page that he was received by Abdullah Saber Fadl, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Chadians Abroad.
The Ministry explained that this visit comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between Libya and Chad and discussing security and economic cooperation, including coordinating efforts to secure borders, combat security threats, and reduce irregular migration, in addition to developing opportunities for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
It is worth noting that this visit includes discussions on mechanisms to support regional stability and address regional and international issues of common interest, reflecting the two countries' commitment to strengthening political and diplomatic coordination in various forums.
