Tripoli, April 5, 2026 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, “Mohamed Al-Menfi,” held two separate meetings today, Sunday in Tripoli, with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Guard for Support , the commander of the two battalions (107 and 32) charged with securing the Tripoli and Mitiga international airports, the Brigadier of Engineers “Ramzi Al-Qammoudi,” a member of the Security and Military Arrangements Committee, and the battalion commander. (461) Border Guard Captain “Muhammad Al-Hussan.”
The two meetings discussed developments in the security situation, ways to raise the level of preparedness, and enhance coordination of joint action between all security and military agencies.
