Fire Extinguished in Carpentry Workshops in the Islamic Call Area

Tripoli, April 3, 2026 (LANA) – The Tripoli National Safety Authority successfully extinguished a fire that broke out last night in carpentry workshops in the Islamic Call area of Tripoli, with no injuries reported.
A post on the Authority's Facebook page indicated that the fire occurred Wednesday night/Thursday morning and was brought under control at 2:20 AM, under the supervision of the head of the Tripoli department, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Bazouti.
The Tripoli, Abu Salim, Janzour, and Al-Sawani departments, in addition to the central workshop, participated in the firefighting operation. The fire was completely extinguished without any casualties, according to the post.
The Authority emphasized its commitment to the safety of citizens and urged the implementation of preventative measures in workshops and industrial areas.
