Al-Menfi meets with security and military leaders in Tripoli

Tripoli, March 31, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today, Tuesday, at the Council's headquarters, with the Acting Chief of the General Staff, the Head of the Libyan Intelligence Service, the Head of the Deterrence Apparatus for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime, the Head of the Presidential Guard, and the Head of the Stability Support Apparatus.

The Presidential Council's media office stated that the meeting comes within the framework of his close monitoring of developments in the security situation and to strengthen joint coordination efforts between the various military and security institutions.

According to the media office, al-Manfi emphasized during the meeting the importance of unifying ranks and strengthening discipline, which contributes to protecting citizens and preserving state institutions.
