Qaderbouh and Wahiba Discuss Strengthening Oversight and Security Coordination in Tripoli

Tripoli, March 30, 2026 (LANA) – The Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, met today, Monday, with the Director of the Tripoli Security Directorate, Khalil Wahiba, to discuss ways to strengthen oversight and security coordination to support the efficiency of performance in state institutions.

The Authority stated on its official page that the meeting comes within the framework of strengthening coordination between oversight and security agencies and supporting efforts to improve performance in state institutions.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to improve employee discipline, increase the efficiency of resource utilization, and enhance transparency in administrative and financial procedures, which will positively impact the quality of security services provided to citizens.

The Authority explained that the meeting focused on several tasks assigned to the Security Directorate within its legal jurisdiction, most notably securing the capital, combating crime, organizing work at police stations, enhancing security deployment, developing mechanisms for receiving and responding to complaints, and ensuring compliance with laws regulating judicial procedures.

Both parties emphasized the importance of establishing accountability principles, activating monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and working to improve the work environment within the Directorate, thereby enhancing the readiness and efficiency of security personnel in performing their duties.

According to the Authority, they stressed the necessity of continued coordination and consultation between the two institutions to achieve integration between oversight and security operations, and to support stability and strengthen state institutions.
