An unexploded surface-to-air missile was found on the airport road in Tripoli.

Tripoli, March 29, 2026 (LANA) – The Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team of the National Safety Authority successfully dealt with an unexploded surface-to-air missile, a remnant of war, found near a gas station on Airport Road.
The Authority stated through its media office that the missile was intact, unexploded, weighed over a ton, and measured approximately four meters in length. It was successfully removed and secured without any damage.
The Authority affirmed its full readiness to handle such reports, in order to protect the safety of citizens and public property.
