Al-Tarabulsi discusses cooperation in security and technical fields with the Chinese ambassador

Tripoli – March 26, 2026 – (LANA) – The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Imad Al-Tarabulsi, met today, Thursday, with Ma Xueliang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Libya, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Chinese side, particularly in the security and technical fields, with the aim of supporting the Ministry's capabilities and enhancing the efficiency of its security performance.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the meeting also discussed ways to develop coordination and cooperation in the areas of training and capacity building, and to benefit from Chinese expertise in modern technologies, in order to support the Ministry's efforts to consolidate security and stability.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued communication and exchange of expertise to strengthen bilateral relations and support efforts to achieve security and stability in Libya.
