The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity participates in the meetings of the Preparatory Committee for the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers

Tripoli – March 26, 2026 – (LANA) – The Preparatory Committee for the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers held its meeting today, Thursday, via videoconference, with the participation of representatives from the interior ministries of Arab countries, including the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity.

The Ministry participated in the meeting through a committee headed by the Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Major General Nour El-Din Abu Jarida, and including a number of specialists from relevant agencies.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the meeting discussed several topics on the agenda, primarily the preparation and drafting of the necessary resolutions and recommendations, in preparation for their adoption by the Arab interior ministers during their meeting scheduled for April 1, 2026.

This participation comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity's commitment to supporting and strengthening joint Arab security efforts and exchanging expertise, which contributes to achieving security and stability in Arab countries, according to the Ministry.
