Al-Baour discusses with the Korean ambassador ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of education, technology and health

Tripoli – March 26, 2026 – (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today, Thursday, with Jang Jehak, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Libya, to discuss bilateral relations between Libya and South Korea and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity stated that the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of education, technology, and health, in addition to encouraging mutual investments and strengthening cultural exchange between the two countries.
The meeting also addressed current regional and international challenges, emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint coordination to confront them.
Both sides stressed the importance of developing political and economic dialogue and supporting development projects that benefit both friendly nations.
The Korean Ambassador expressed his country's support for Libya's efforts to achieve stability and development, affirming the Republic of Korea's readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
